Ordered this to speed up my laptop. Fail. After install Windows crashed multiple times. Running memtest turned up several bad sectors on the RAM chips. Fortunately Amazon.com didn't quibble a bit over refunding my money. I have the money to try again with a better brand. :)
Customer Review: Not Right Configuration
Crucial gave me the wrong memory configuration. There was only ONE expansion slot in my laptop and I was told I needed two 1GB sodimms. Now I have a 1GB sodimm with no place to put it, and my laptop only has 1.5GB instead of 2.5GB memory!!
