This safe is larger and heavier than I thought and looks to be very well made. You have to lock it with the key. We put it inside our fire-resistant file cabinet for added protection.

I think this is a great product, because I luckily haven't needed to test it out. It has ample space to keep documents and jewelry in it, but it should be only considered for fire safety, not to keep the bad guys out. It's very mobile and if someone broke into your house, they could grab it in an instant. Plus, there is a little number on the front of the lock, that is you call the manufacturer with the number and get a duplicate key. Hopefully, I won't have to really use this product, but I am happy with the size of it and understand it's limitations.
